A world leader of medical devices is seeking an experienced product manager to manage an already successful portfolio of surgical products with great potential for additional growth and expansion.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants the excitement of growth combined with the safety of a strong parent organization.  The winning candidate will manage all activity throughout the product life cycle including market research, forecasting, product messaging/positioning, pricing, interfacing with customers, sales support and training, KOL development, and promotions.  This is a downstream focused position however upstream responsibilities are to be expected.
Responsibilities:

Prepare product forecasts, pricing, product positioning, promotional strategies and marketing plans for all products in the business group   
Manage lifecycle including developing methods to increase revenue and profitability for the assigned product line
Maintain inventory of products by coordinating with manufacturing for all market areas
Create marketing collateral including brochures, posters, training materials, trade show advertising, and materials
Work closely with sales team to increase product utilization through field travel, sales training, pricing strategies, and development of tools and programs
Keep informed of current market trends, competitive developments as it relates to the portfolio

 
Qualifications:

BA or BS degree; MBA preferred
A minimum of 3 years medical device product management experience
Demonstrated leadership skills and success in interacting with sales in the field
