| We need someone who can write press releases, contact the press, and get our name and events listed in the local newspapers and on television and radio stations. Graduate students or students majoring in journalism, public relations, marketing can obtain invaluable experience by helping us, as well as community service hours. If you are enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about educating the public on mental health issues, especially depression and suicide, then you're the perfect match for us.Previous experience a plus. Volunteers should be able to help develop & maintain a strong marketing program, define marketing goals and strategies, develop a marketing plan, create presentations for various community groups, write articles and/or press releases, create and maintain a marketing calendar, coordinate marketing events. And evaluate marketing effectiveness. Work in cooperation with other members of the leadership team to determine the marketing, communication and PR needs of the organization.
