Description
We are currently working with a client in the Philadelphia, PA area who is looking for full time permanent System Analyst position. This client will also consider a contract to hire position.
The Systems Analyst will design, implement, develop, and support technical solutions that address various business requirements. The position will utilize the toolset within JDEdwards as well as third party software such as Create!Form. Utilizing knowledge of information systems and data processing principles, as well as distribution and manufacturing business processes, the successful candidate will develop computing solutions that will aid in making business decisions. Additionally this person will require a thorough understanding of all interfaces in Oracle/J.D. Edwards One World Xe, including but not limited to manufacturing, inventory/materials management and finance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Your key responsibilities will involve reviewing, analyzing, and modifying JDE programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization's application systems.
2.You will also consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
3.May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections and write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
4.Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education:This position requires that the candidate have a BA/BS degree in Information Systems Management or Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience plus 6+ years in a professional business or IS department environment. Additionally required is 5+ years of business data and analysis and JD Edwards functional and technical design.
