Please bring a copy of your resume and a headshot (if you have one).  We will provide a brief overview of the event and the script material.  We would like everyone to come prepared and ready to improvise with one another so that we may cast you in an area that suits your talents and capabilities.

 

MANDATORY FINAL REHEARSAL

 

Wednesday, May 28th 6 PM – 9 PM

 

We will distribute costumes and hold last minute fittings at this time.

The call time for the actors will be at least 60-90 minutes prior to performance.

At the Gala in the Garden, guests will travel back (and forward) in time as they stroll through the south Allentown campus. Historically appropriate food and beverage, and costumed guides, will be featured at five vignettes, each representing a different era in American history. One vignette will also offer a glimpse into the future.

 

PROJECT ROLES

Talent should be personable, experienced, able to work well with others and able to help maintain the flow of the evening through personal interaction with the guests. We are also seeking singers and musicians as additional entertainment in the vignette and through the campus grounds.

 

Character Roles during the Gala: 

There would be brief, scripted material which would be repeated throughout the evening as different groups enter each vignette, as well as in-character improv and direct audience interaction. The actors will also assist guests in navigating the event to create a unique experience for all involved.
