This is a full time position and the primary function will be to assist in the coordination of daily programs for the Activities Department, specifically with residents who have moderate to severe dementia. The Activities Aide reports to the Director of Activities and will be responsible for:Work with residents who have dementia to bring a better quality of lifeGathering residents for various programs and events Accompanying residents on outside trips i.e. shopping, concerts and other types of entertainment.Exercise, arts & crafts, parties, music and gamesOther duties as related Special hours for this position are from 12:30pm to 8:00pm and every third weekend.Stapeley In Germantown is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements:Applicants are required to have a High School diploma or equivalent, some experience working with people with dementia or Alzheimers is preferred.
